Rocking Horses

Rocking Horses have been a favourite gift for generations. A Rocking Horse is a toy horse that is mounted on rockers or springs. It is large enough so a child (or maybe adult) can sit on it and rock backwards and forwards.

The rocking horse is a timeless favorite of toddlers, children, and their parents. And while the traditional carved timber breed is still popular, there are a stable full of new designs.

Rocking Horse Safety.

• Rocking toys should be steady and stable enough to permit safe mounting, and should not rock so far that they might tip forwards or backwards.
  
• Be sure to use rocking toys in a large, open play space with a soft, carpeted floor, uncluttered by surrounding furniture on which children may bump their heads in the event of a fall.
  
• Be prepared to supervise play closely, particularly mounting and dismounting, and discourage any attempts to rock too vigorously.
